What is MI DNI?
MI DNI is an Android app that lets you manage your digital certificates and access public services with your Spanish electronic DNI (DNIe) from your phone.
Can I use MI DNI to access public services?
Yes, as long as you have a DNI 3.0 or 4.0 with active certificates. You can access platforms such as the Tax Agency, Social Security, and SEPE, among others.
Does the app replace the physical DNI?
No. It is a support tool, not a legal substitute. You still need to carry your physical DNI for official in-person procedures.
Can it be used to obtain the FNMT digital certificate?
Yes. You can do it by reading your DNI with NFC, using video identification, or through in-person verification at official offices.
What do I need for it to work correctly?
An Android phone with NFC, an activated electronic DNI (3.0 or 4.0), and your certificate password.
Is MI DNI an official government app?
No. Although it connects to official sites, the app has no direct relationship with any government entity. It is a private initiative by Intereidas, with no government affiliation.
